Lucho Libre

We went to Lucho Libre. It was a wrestling fun event. They were all dressed up in funny costumes. They were smashing tables and chairs on each others heads. It was really funny.

Hey So Sorry

I'm back I didn't really go anywhere but haven't posted in a while. I don't expect anyone to be reading this because I haven't posted recently but here I am.

So me and my Dad did a 2.2km race on Sunday during the Surf contest it was really fun but hot!

Busy

So we recently have been just going to school everyday from 7am to 130pm it is such a long day. Then sometimes we go surfing or just hang and do homework. That is pretty much all we do. Oh !

Hey

Hey, sorry I have not blogged in a while we had a bunch of guest and homework from both schools. But recently we have gone horse back riding. But I will try to blog more often now sorry.

Birthday

It's my Birthday! I am now 13. I am a teen!

My Birthday. I will be 13 years old!

I survived

I made it through my first day of school. It was really not that bad. There is a girl in my class who can translate for me. She translates the questions and I right them. So tonight I did my homework which was a bunch of questions. So when I answered all the questions it was really not that hard.

Home

So my Dad came home today. We also got our school uniforms. I will post a picture of them. They are a pink jumper and a white short sleeve shirt. We start school on Monday. School is from 7:00 am to 1:30pm. Long day of being confused. Then best My birthday is on Friday the 14. I will be 13 years old. Wohoo!!

Nothing really

There is nothing big going on. We have just been hanging.

Lately

We got back from La Manzanilla on the 27th of December. My Grandpa got sick and has been in the hospital for almost two weeks. My Dad flew to Texas to visit him and help out. My Dad left on the 28th of December. We have been very busy unpacking, again. We have just been hanging the last few days. Regan, Rowan, and I made bookmarks out of a note card and some tape and ribbons. This all started when Rowan and his friend where playing and made bookmarks and went to sell them on the beach and Rowan's friend made quite a bit and Rowan made none. So Regan and I helped him make some really good ones and when we went to sell them on the beach and we made about $160 pesos(about $15.) Rowan was very happy!!

Feliz Navidad/Merry Christmas

So for Christmas I got a baby turtle and a necklace. I also got a water hat but I was wearing it in the waves today and lost it. If you have any names in mind for my turtle please tell me. It is a girl.

On Christmas Eve we went to dinner at Kenny's it was a full four course meal with turkey. Yum Yum Yum.

We went to the Cocodrilo pen. There where crocodiles like 2 feet in front of use with a very flimsy fences in between us. We threw dead fish to them it was really fun.

Sorry sorry sorry I have been so busy because I normally blog at night and we have been going to bed really late.

Ohh and we will be returning to Sayulita in about a week.

We Left

We drove this morning to La Manzanilla this morning. We had to be out of our house. Some people rented it before we made our rent. But La Manzanilla is very pretty. It does not have much for waves but that is OK. We will be enjoying Feliz Navidad here(fun.) We have a super cool house here it is three stories high and has a palapa as a roof. in the bathrooms of all of them there is a huge fountain. So from each bathroom you can talk to the person on the floor above you or below you. It is funny! I miss you all and will post more soon. Bye!

Jellyfish aka Medusa

I got stung by a Jellyfish yesterday. While I was surfing, one stung my foot and then my left arm. Then we went to the other side of the beach and I brought my arm out of the water and there was a jellyfish stinger on my arm it was pink, yellow, and black. It hurt like crazy. When I came out of the water I was holding my hand and a man came over and said something and he was pointing to my hand and I said "jellyfish" he walked over to the water and pulled all his kids out. Then this lady came over and put something on it and it felt so much better. I will take a picture next time.

Leaving

Our good friends the Barefoot Casa family leave in two days. So sad! Then we have to leave on the 20th. Some people rented our house. We will go to La Manzanilla. We rented a house there for a week.

Sick

Our poor friend Darcie got very sick. They had to take him to the hospital. He spent the night there. He is getting much better though now.

Sorry

I am so sorry I have not posted lately we have been getting home late. That is when I normaly post.

Nothing much

We didn't do anything exciting today. We did scuba diving in the pool. We had two regulators and three people and we stayed below the surface for 5 minutes.

This is where

This is where we snorkeled we really only say stingrays and fish but it was still so cool. Rowan and his buds found a baby moray eel so cute and slimy. It was very pretty there.

Whales

On our way to the snorkeling place we saw a ton of whales. So cool. We got very close it was awesome.

The Boat ride

So today we went on a boat ride to go snorkeling. The boat is so cool.

Yesterdays Raging Rapids

So yesterday when we went for a beach walk in San Poncho (with my dads friend Martin) we met up with his mom who had made a rapid the day before yesterday at the begining it was probaly 5 inches across 3 inches deep. At the end it was 12 feet wide 8 feet deep. Opps we did not mean to make it that big. It drained the hole Logoon(thats what we made the river from (The Lagoon to the ocean)) what is so funny is when Martin's mom dug the rapid there were some worker men working on making a river to drain the Logoon and they spent all day digging this hole and Martain's mom beat them to it. The Lagoon was emty before they even finished.

Iguanas

This is a collage I made. It is full of pictures of Iguanas that were in the Iguana tree. The Iguanas like this tree because of it's special fruit or what ever is on the tree. They are so big. If you can't see them look closer.

Surfing

We went surfing today just a little (because the waves were so big.) But I am now a pro body surfer I can like lay on the wave out of the water and ride the wave it is so much fun. I love it here!

Just So Happy

I am just so happy. But I miss you all. I am just so happy we did this trip (so far at least.) I feel like I am starting to get to know the community and how nice all the people are done her. Its crazy how many nice people you meet everyday done here. I love it.

Everything

There is so much stuff here to do... Swimming at our beach, going to Lalancha, studying our Spanish/ doing our Spanish homework, doing SMM homework, going swimming in our pool, going for a run on the beach, etc. So I have been so busy doing them all, I lost track of time. So today we went to Spanish class then went to Lalancha had a great time until Emerson Stewart got stabed by a stingray. It was bad!! But he is OK. We just saw him weirdly we all ended up at the same restaurant. I miss you all so much.

So Busy

I am so sorry I have not posted in a few days I have been busy with SMM homework and language homework. But my Grandpa flew in today he will be staying with use. The language classes are very fun. I miss you all and will post more soon!

Lalancha

So we did actually end up going to Lalancha today. It was awesome. I caught a lot of waves. It was so much fun I loved it.

Dog

This is our new Mexico dog. Her name is Te Te! We feed her every morning and every night. She sleeps outside our gate. But she follows use everywere. Even when we drive in the Jeep.

Thanksgiving

So we had Thanksgiving at the Barefoot Casa house. It was so much fun! Here are some pictures.

Everything fixed

So now the toilet works, the stove, sink, hot water heater. It is way better. But the washer does not work but the dryer does how weird.

School

So I went and met Nancy she is the Spanish teacher at CVIS (the international school) and I will be starting Spanish class on Monday. I am actually so excited to start it sounds like so much fun. She said that on Fridays we go to the market and you wear this sing that says " I am a Student, no English, Only Spanish," and if she hears you speak in English you have to wear the witch hat. I will be in CVIS for probably 3 weeks.

Baby Turtles

So last night we didn't go surfing at Lalancha(bad waves) instead we went just to the left of our walkway to the beach. I didn't catch any waves I was to scared. But at our beach there is a man who in the early mornings or late at night walks done the beach and looks for mom turtles tracks and finds were she lays her eggs and he picks all of them up and and raises them in his turtle sanctuary. He dose this because some people like to eat the baby turtle eggs and there mother so he saves them. He let the ones that hatched go they were so cute. I will take pictures next time!

Surfing

Sunday was our first day surfing. I used the NSP board which is 8foot 2inches. I stood for a short amount of time but I was just glad I stood up. We met up with my parents friends Martin and Pricilla. We also met for the second time Heather and Dave. They have 4 kids too there names are Cole, Emerson, Eve, and Soliel. We are going surfing today at Lalancha with the Stewart family(Dave and Heather and kids.) Hopefully we will catch some good waves. Give you some pictures later.

So much to say

So today it is the Mexican Independence day celebration. It is like our fourth of July but it is there 100th anniversary. There are fire works and a parade it is very cool. Our house is so cool. But I took a shower and the water was freezing. We have met like 6 people from Washington. we had dinner last night at a wonderful restaurant.We would have eaten at home but or fridge does not work, our stove does not work, the one of the toilets does not work, and one sink does not work other wise it is great.

We made it

Yahoo! We made it. We have been here for 1 night so far. The weather is warm and the waves are large. We drove for 7 days. But during those 7 days we spent 2 in Arizona with my Grandma and Grandpa. From Friday, November 12 at 6:00pm to Friday, November 19 at 1:00pm(Mexico time) we drove. But we did stop at nights. The mexico roads are scary a lot of them have no shoulder.

San Blas

We are in San Blas, Mexico! We are 3 hours away from Sayulita, Mexico. We will start driving at 12ish. I will post more soon!!

Phoenix, Arizona

So we made it to Phoenix, Arizona at 6pm your time. So we will spend a few days her with my Grandma and Grandpa then start our drive to Sayulita, Mexico. It will probably take us two days to get there. I miss you all. Have fun in the cold weather!!

On the road

We have been on the road for 2 days. The first day we drove from 6pm to 2am. Witch took us from home to Roseburg, Orgon. Second day we drove from Roseburg, Oregon to Kettleman, Californa which took us from 9:30am to 9:30pm. So these are long days of driving and we are going to start another 7:30 to .....

Getting there

We are getting closer. Three more days. I am so excited. But sad I have to leave all my friends and family I will miss you all.

Busy Packing

Sorry I have not posted recently I have been very busy packing for Mexico. We leave this Friday the 12th. We will return around May 10th, 2011.
